Civil Society Organizations to extend branches in counties

Civil Society Organizations in Torit of Imotong State is putting up plans of opening branches in other counties of the state.
 
Betty Akulo, member of civil society forum say extension of branches in other counties of the state makes coordination easy. Emmanuel Radio reports.
 
Akulo says the initiative will help organizations to strategize its areas of concern in regard to lobbying for funds.
 
She says establishment of county branches came due to challenges related to reaching people in the grass root levels.
 
‘It will be easy for us, when you are lobbying you know what you are lobbying and what you are going to do or creating awareness or training TOTs so that it is us from Torit we cannot go up to there just a matter of communicating with them and sending for them funds for organizing their meetings’
 
The Official was speaking to Radio Emmanuel in an exclusive interview after the monthly forum at Torit civic engagement center in Torit on Thursday.
