Headmistress cautions mothers against over working their children

The headmistress of Torit One Primary School is calling on parents to avoid giving heavy work to their children during school hours.
 
Sikuku Ruth says most children come late to school as a result of heavy work given by their parents. Emmanuel Radio reports.
 
She encourages parents to send their children early to school so that they do not miss lessons.
 
Ruth says the success of learners is a collective responsibility of both parents and teachers to monitor and supervise school going children
 
She acknowledges that rampant transfer of teachers will hinder learning environment.
