The Catholic Archbishop of Juba Diocese says the remaining period to recommence the Revitalization process in Addis Ababa, is a time for home work to ensure peace is achieved in the country.
In his remarks during the South Sudan’s Catholic Bishops’ meeting in Juba on Wednesday, Archbishop Paulino Lukudu Loro says he expected that the High Level of the Revitalization forum concluded in last week would bring peace to South Sudan, but unfortunately the parties were not ready to compromise.
He stresses that it is the pastoral responsibility to ensure that peace is achieved in South Sudan. Archbishop Lukudu describes the process as “a hot fire”.
He calls on the bishops to own the revitalization of the process and ensure that peace is achieved in the country.
The Archbishop prays that God brings peace to South Sudan.
