The Director of Wildlife in Tonj State assures the public that the responsibility of domestic animals is not under wildlife department.
Madhieu Jangkou says many people raise complains to wildlife office over domestic animals, Don Bosco radio reports
He points out that such animals like dogs, goats and cows or any other domestic animal are under the sole responsibility of the owner, Ministry of Animal Resources and Fisheries and veterinary office.
Jangkou advises the community to understand the word wildlife before presenting any case to the office.
Efforts by Don Bosco to contact the Ministry of Animal Resources and Fisheries were in vain.
The official made the remarks on Tuesday in an interview with Don Bosco Radio.
