Two brothers have been shot dead by a police man in Wau town over the weekend.
Radio Voice of Hope in Wau learned that ,Andrea and Michael Anthony Simon were killed at their place of work in Jau market on Saturday.
Wau town Mayor, Hassan Ngor Aguer, revealed that the argument started when the two lates demanded the assailant to pay dowry of their sister. He says the suspect was told if he did not pay the dowry he will not see his kids and wife and he will no longer be their in-law.
Mayor Ngor confirmed that authorities in Wau town have arrested the suspect and he has been kept in Wau Central Prison until the family of the deceased opens a case against him.
He calls on the people to stay calm and not to give wrong information to communities.
Last week unknown gunman opened fire on a soldier at Lokoloko area.
