South Sudanese refugees in Gulu, Uganda are appealing to the parties in the ongoing Revitalization Forum to urgently sign peace agreement to end war in the country, says Archbishop of Gulu Catholic Archdiocese.
Archbishop John Baptist Odama says refugees are suffering and they lack basic needs. He says they are asking for urgent peace so that they can return home and rebuild themselves.
He calls on the negotiating parties to hear the voices of the refugees who are experiencing difficulties in foreign countries.
Odama, consoles South Sudanese to have hope for peace in their land soon.
The Catholic prelate discloses that the Church in Uganda is assisting the people with various services.
Archbishop Odama spoke to the media after delivering the message of South Sudanese refugees in Gulu in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia on Thursday.
