Wild Life officer condemns killing of animals in Tonj

The director of wild life in Tonj state is condemning the random killing of wild animals, destructing them in the forest.
 
Madhieu Jangkou says people kill animals for their personal benefit which is against the law of the country. Don Bosco Radio reports.
 
Jangkou calls for help from partners like NGOs to support the government in protecting the wild animals.
 
Llong Body, a regular caller of Don Bosco radio blames government for allowing guns in the hands of civilians. ‘that is why, they use gun to kill wild animals’, he explains.
 
He appeals to the state government to disarm all the communities in the area as a means to reduce the attacks on animals.
