The United Nations Children Fund or UNICEF has disclosed plans to provide scholastic materials and construct schools to former child soldiers in Western Equatoria.
Vedasto Nsanzugwanko, Chief of Child Protection Program says UNICEF will also engage with vulnerable communities who are not able to cater for their children, Anisa Radio reports.
UNICEF will also empower them economically and support vocational schools, he adds.
The speaker made the remark to Anisa Radio on Tuesday.
The Catholic Radio Network (CRN) is a media project constituted by community-based radio stations broadcasting in Frequency Modulation from Juba, Yei, Torit, Yambio, Rumbek, Tonj, Wau, and Malakal.
