Imotong State Minister of Gender, Child and Social Welfare is calling on women to lobby for their rights.
Longejuk Vitale urges women not to fear to speak out their rights, Emmanuel Radio reports.
The Minister calls for respect to women and collective efforts towards averting all forms of gender based violence in the state.
Vitale also appeals to South Sudanese to stay away from harmful cultures, limiting women from exercising their rights.
The Minister made the call during a one day workshop on capacity building on public speaking and gender budgeting in Torit on Thursday.
