John says a lot of communities are showing interest in cooperative food production from the survey.
‘We received a good feedback from Geriya County with 8 primary groups ready to be registered to have their cooperative certificates, John revealed,. I have been discussing with the directorate of the cooperatives to help in the registration process. Other parts of the state we have not been able to mobilize due to insecurity places like Magwi we could not be able to reach there’, he says.
John Peter further calls for support from other partners in building up the cooperatives.
Angelo Omene Losuhe who works for cooperatives urges communities to register with farmers cooperative to help meet a goal of massive food production.
