The Police Administration in Wau State has registered more than 20 rape cases since last year until the beginning of 2018, says officer.
Christina William Hassan, Police Cases Sector officer in Jaw Market told Radio Voice of Hope that last week they recorded two rape cases for underage girls.
The officer explains that last year report indicates that above twenty cases were listed and some perpetrators were taken to the court to face justice.
One of the culprits is in jail currently, she notes.
The officer urges people to think before committing any crime that may affect communities.
The rape cases are still ongoing though campaigns for stopping gender-based violence were done for 16 days in Wau last year, she stresses.
