Put behind tribalism and ethnic violence and follow the example of Jesus Christ for the nation to move forward, Comboni Missionaries from Moyo Parish, Arua Diocese in Uganda appeal to South Sudanese.
Fr Alfred Mawadri expresses the need to work hard to build one Christian family where there is forgiveness, unity, peace and reconciliation among people.
He encourages Church leaders to be in the forefront in search for peace and unity and be the source of courage to the hopeless communities in South Sudan.
Fr Maku Joseph, another Comboni Missionary from Uganda, calls for dialogue among South Sudanese to resolve the current conflict instead of destroying themselves.
Fr Joseph urges everybody to accept the fact that South Sudan is a young nation and it is undergoing through a process.
He calls on the people to get involved in the process of nation building.
