Education officials in Imotong State Ministry Education say they are expecting the enrolment in schools to rise in the forthcoming academic year.
Gabriel Oliha says the number in the past years turned-down as many citizens moved to the neighboring countries to seek refuge, Radio Emmanuel reports.
The Director-General sensitizes parents on the importance of their children’s education.
He reveals that the Ministry pledges to mandate local chiefs to hold parents accountable for failing to send their children to school.
Oliha encourages children to take education seriously for their future betterment.
