The herders in Pageri County are not ready to relocate their cattle out of the area which is violation of President Salva Kiir’s order, says the Governor of Imotong State.

Tobiolo Alberio Oromo says the cattle keepers have refused to move their cattle from the area, but instead advanced to Nimule National Park, Radio Emmanuel reports.

He suggests the use of military force to send the cattle keepers to their states.

Alberio expresses fear that the relocation of cattle may cause destruction to farms along the roads.

The Governor appeals to all cattle keepers in Pageri County to respect the President’s order to create conducive environment to returnees.

Last year, Greater Magwi communities warned that any failure to evacuate herders from their area will affect their participation in the national dialogue.
