The Governor of Imotong State says the storming of Ayachi County Military Outpost is a clear violation of the ceasefire agreement signed in Addis Ababa late last year.
Tobiolo Oromo Alberio reports that the area was attacked on Friday morning leaving one solder wounded, Radio Emmanuel reports.
The governor condemns the attack and calls on armed men to adhere to the agreement.
Alberio calls on the local population not to worry as the government is working hard to bring the situation under control.
The Governor was briefing the press on Friday in Torit.
