Nearly 50 women have so far registered to begin adult education at Lokoloko IDPs site in Wau State.

Cecilia Daniel Surur, Executive Director of Women Food Basket Organization told Radio Voice of Hope this week, that educating women is crucial so they know their rights.

She confirms that so far 45 five women were registered in the centres and are ready to begin their classes next week.

Mrs Daniel reveals a plan to open the same initiative to other IDPs centers in Wau to give women an opportunity to learn.

She added that the center will follow the curriculum of the Ministry of Education and that they do not charge any money.

The center also is opened to all women and that those in residential areas can come and join classes, the Director explains.

The classes are expected to begin early next week.
