The Youth Association of Kichama area of Hieban County ended their four-day conference in the Nuba Mountains.
Kocho Peter, Deputy Chairman of the Association, says the aim of the conference is to unite people of Kichama, Radio Voice of Peace reports.
The meeting also addresses issues like expansion of the association, opening more schools, supporting women, discouraging early marriage among others.
Kichama Mayor, Saeed Omar, urges people to unite and support the idea of the youth.
He expresses impressing by the high turn up of the population for the first conference.
Hundreds of people, government officials, youth, local authorities and teachers attended the conference under the theme: ‘Unity is strength’.
