The acting director for quality assurance and standards in Imotong state says the working conditions for civil servants in South Sudan have deteriorated due to the ongoing conflict.
Genesis Ohide Otelmoi says the political crisis has worsened the working conditions of employee’s especially teaching profession. Emmanuel Radio reports
Ohide Advice’s teachers who have left the profession due to the crisis to come back and continue providing children with education.
The director reveals more than half of the teachers in Imotong state have left the profession due to little pay that cannot meet the market price.
He hopes the current adjustment in teacher’s salary couple with 40 dollar will boost education sector.
Ohide was speaking to radio Emmanuel in an interview on Friday.
