Deputy Governor tells youth to eliminate harmful cultural practices

Imatong state’s deputy governor is calling on the youth to eliminate harmful cultural practices and live peaceful life.
 
Margret Itoo mentions early and forced marriages and early pregnancy deny girls their rights to educational opportunity. Emmanuel Radio reports.
 
She says such cultural practices that should be brought to an end.
 
Imotong State Youth President, Otililing James Oliang believes youth can arrest any criminal activity in their respective societies if empowered.
 
Otililing appeals to the Youth to ensure peace prevails in the state by identifying those behind road robbery, cattle raiding, stealing and many others.
 
Torit County Youth Dialogue organized by SARRA in collaboration with Imotong State Peace Commission, brought together ninety youth.
