Fourteen suspected people have been arrested over conflict between Jalwau and Thiik communities of Tonj State, Governor reveals.

Akec Tong Aleu says the arrest is to stop conflict and order the capture of suspects from both communities to face the law, Radio Don Bosco reports.

Governor Tong explains that the grazing land of Thiik community will be left empty until they resolve their problem.

He advises South Sudanese to refrain from conflict and enjoy dividends of the independence that they fought for.

The political leader made the remarks upon his arrival from Tonj East.

Last month Thiik and Jalwau communities in Tonj East clashed leaving forty seven people dead and forty two others injured.
