Juba Airport authorities are installing landing instruments to ease landing of planes at all times.

An Egyptian company has begun the work on Monday and will continue until Friday this week, confirms Kur Kuol Ajiu, Airport Managing Director.

Kuol says the new communication machine will enable deduction of the runway and safe landing.

The installation of the system will raise the airport to the international standard, says the director.

He expects more regional and international flights to use Juba airport for connecting due to its suitable locations.

Kuol reveals that some airlines including Turkish have already expressed their readiness to use Juba International Airport.

The Managing Director is optimistic that within few weeks the new terminal will operate to raise the standard of the airport.
