Celebrating the nativity of Jesus Christ is rejoicing in Christian’s faith in the universe, says a priest of the Catholic Diocese of Tombura-Yambio.
Fr Abraham Abayo says the three wise men, who came to visit baby Jesus because God directed them to go to see the new born king of Israel, Radio Anisa reports.
He reveals that the three wise men protected Jesus from being killed by King Herod who was aiming to kill Jesus.
Fr Abayo urges Christians to offer gifts to others because it has meanings as the wise men did.
The priest advises Christians to receive the new born baby Jesus in their spiritual lives to be good people and see God’s salvation.
He was preaching at St Mary Yambio Catholic Parish.
