The Catholic Bishop of Tombura-Yambio discloses plans to open three boarding schools and one Catholic University with many branches next year.
Bishop Barani Eduardo Hiiboro Kussala says the schools are expected to be opened in February Western Equatoria Region, Anisa Radio reports.
He confirms that one boarding school will be at Rii-Menze Catholic Parish, another at Naandi Parish and the third one at Tombura.
The proposed Catholic University will have different faculties, whereby the main campus will be located at Yambio and the branches in Maridi and Tombura States, he adds.
He urges parents and guardians to send their children to those mixed boarding schools for both boys and girls, starting from Nursery to Primary.
Christian Missionary Brothers, who have been running one of the most quality schools in Uganda, will run the school in Riimenze Catholic Parish.
Bishop Hiiboro made the statement on Christmas Day at St Mary Catholic Parish in Yambio.
