The Imotong State youth leader urges the national government to distance all barracks across the country away from civilian’s areas.

According to Radio Emmanuel Otililing James Oliang says presence of military barracks caused more insecurity leaving citizens in panic.

Distancing the military barracks away from civilian’s centers improves lives, he stresses.

James calls for civilians’ disarmament because most citizens possess guns at their homes leading to increase insecurity and road robberies.

The national government should regulate the use of guns in the country to reduce the rate of death caused by useless politics, he urges.

He calls on leaders to give peace a chance.

The youth leader was speaking during the national dialogue consultative meeting at Torit Municipal Council last week.
