Citizens of Ndavuro Boma of Yambio County in Gbudue State urge the government to provide to them basic services.

The communities there complain that they are surviving without schools and health centres, Radio Anisa reports.

David Dogbere, Chief of Ndavuro Boma, says it is very hard for them to get water especially during dry season.

He laments that the condition is forcing women to move for 18 kilometers to collect water.

Mikelina Aninyasi, a mother of twins, regrets the situation women are undergoing in the area.

She says it is very difficult for women who have children to fetch water from far distance because they cannot leave the young ones at home alone.

Joyce Yore, one of the community members, says the conflict in South Sudan has affected women very badly.

She appeals to national government to render immediate support in terms of education, hearth and water supply in their areas.

Hussein Enoka Ibrahim, Minister of Health in Gbudue State says the government plans to open more health facilities at Bomas to benefit rural communities.

Efforts to reach concerned authorities for water supply at the moment were unsuccessful.
