UNICEF trains IDPs in Yambio on self protection

UN children agency or UNICEF trained thirty-five internally displaced persons or IDPs to discuss issues facing them on self protection.
 
According to Radio Anisa, Maria Corinna Migue, UNICEF Assistant Representative, appeals to participants to be active and air out some key issues facing them.
 
The Commissioner for Refugees Affairs, Paulino Zizi, says protection of IDPs and refugees is a collective responsibility in South Sudan.
 
He appeals to both IDPs and refugees to put their prayer first priority while undergoing challenges.
 
Pia Phillip Michael, Minister of Education and Social Welfare in Gbudue, calls for collective efforts to move the state forward.
 
He adds that Gbudue is relatively calm and that communities decide to embrace peace in the state.
 
The minister urges citizens to work harder for lasting peace to prevail South Sudan.
