The fishermen in Tonj State appeal to the government to cooperate in taxing fishermen and avoid charging a lot of money.
 
Bak Kony, one of the fishermen, explains that fishing is not easy because of the biting economic crisis, Radio Don Bosco reports.
 
Monica Awur Ring stresses that prices of fish in Tonj vary from 300 to 500 or 200 Pounds depending on the size of the fish.
 
Fishermen are increasing prices of fish in markets because nets and hooks are expensive, explains Dut Makuac Dang.
 
He points out that economic hardships has forced many people to go for fishing to survive.
