Tribal conflict between Manyangok of Tonj and Malou-pec of Gok States left eight people dead, one person missing and eleven others injured on the side of Manyangok alone.
Manyangok Commissioner, Bona Bol Aruec, says he was informed late by one of the soldiers about the fighting cattle raid fighting, Radio Don Bosco reports.
The Commissioner mentions that seven people are seriously wounded and will be taken to Tonj Civil Hospital.
Bol Kuocmuol Bol, community leader of Thony reveals that forty-two heads of cattle were allegedly looted by Gok youth resulting into a tribal conflicting.
The leader advises youth of both sides and all state authorities to handle community issues amicably.
The leaders proposed community to be trained to protect the lives and property of civilians.
Police commissioner in the state was not available to comment on the issue.
