A ten-year-old boy, Ramadan Abdallah Musa Sebit, was taken out from Lokoloko stream dead after playing with other boys on Sunday.
Eyewitnesses told Radio Voice of Hope that when they prevent children from playing in the stream, they face challenges from parents.
Father of the deceased, Simon Joseph explains that his wife warned their son against going to the stream.
But the boy got chance when his mother went for an occasion, he laments.
Francis Ibrahim, Commissioner of Beselia County who visited the place of the incident, confirms that the incident happened during the day.
He adds that the boy was taken out dead after he sank in the water.
The Commissioner urges all parents to prevent their children from playing in streams or rivers to avoid such incidents in the future.
According to reports from the people working near the river, this year, two dead bodies were found in the same stream.
