The headmaster of Nzara Secondary School appreciates the Catholic Bishop of Tombura-Yambio Diocese for paying teachers’ salaries for three months.
William Fuende Gbapai testifies that Bishop Barani Eduardo Hiiboro Kussala’s actions explain and show real leadership, Radio Anisa reports.
He says if the people of South Sudan continue to act like Bishop Hiiboro, teachers could develop and move forward in peace.
The headmaster says the money was calculated according to the salaries that government teachers receive.
Teachers of Nzara Secondary will continue to get their monthly salary until January next year, he adds.
The move will motivate teachers to work without complain, the headmaster notes.
