Women and youth of Tonj East Counties on Saturday contributed forty-three thousand South Sudanese Pounds for peace mobilization across six counties.
Joseph Ajong Magong, Chairperson of Tonj East Students’ Union, says the money is to facilitate the peace campaign in the area, Radio Don Bosco reports.
He says the counties that contributed include Palel County, Luacjang South, Angapagok, Jelwau, Luacjang East, Luacjang Center and Luacjang North.
This is the third time Tonj East contributed money for the peace campaign, the chairman adds.
Ajong also acknowledges Indeed and Truth Ministries Organization for offering them diesel and uniforms for the campaign.
He calls upon the government and all peace loving citizens to join their hands together in promoting peace and stability across South Sudan.
The peace campaign is expected to start next week.
