The East African Community of EAC Secretariat announces postponement of Heads of State Retreat on Infrastructure, Health Financing and Development.
The retreat was scheduled to take place on November 28 and 29 in Kampala, Uganda.
The Secretariat in statement on Thursday says the postponement follows consultations and guidance from Chairperson of the EAC Heads of State President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni.
It adds that EAC leaders are expected to attend African Union Heads of State-European Union Summit in Abidjan, Cote d’Ivoire from November 29 to 30.
The EAC body says the papers and registrations for participants and exhibitors received will retain an active status until the rescheduled date.
