The Sub-Committee of the National Dialogue to Northern Bahr El Ghazal says people expressed their readiness for the discussion.
Kuol Athian Mawiel, sub-committee Chairperson, says they consulted people of Northern Bahr El Ghazal last month on problems facing South Sudan and possible solutions.
He expresses happiness for the support Aweil community rendered to the committee during the consultation process.
Athian says the committee did not experience any interference or interruption from Northern Bahr El Ghazal States.
Stephen Ajongo Akol, a member of the sub-committee, says the process went well.
He adds that the people raised fundamental problems facing South Sudan and possible ways for resolving them.
The sub-committee that went to Northern Bahr El Ghazal comprises of five people and eight technical officers, launched the consultation in Aweil town last month.
It consulted chiefs, elders, civil society organizations, youth, women, disabled people, teachers, faith-based groups, business communities and local government officials.
Other sub-committees are next week expected to go to Western Equatoria, Western Bahr El Ghazal, Eastern Equatoria, Warrap, Lakes, Jonglei and Unity States.
