Imotong state governor promises to strengthen the local government system of war affected area of Pageri County
Tobiolo Alberio Oromo reveals that thousands of citizens displaced and many lives lost due to the insecurity situation in the area and there is a need to provide them with services. Emmanuel Radio reports.
Speaking during the opening of a monthly coordination meeting in Torit, Imotong Alberio stresses the need to build administrative offices so as to address the security situation in the area.
Alberio says for peace to prevail in the state and in the entire country, leaders must reach to the grassroots population and work for peace.
He says peace is a collective responsibility.
Governor Alberio applauds United Nations Mission in South Sudan or UNMISS for taking lead in supporting peace activities in the state.
