More than two hundred community members participated in a two days community forum to discuss ways of how to reduce tension of the communal violence among communities in Lakes states.
Leaders from government officials, youth, women, chiefs’ leaders took part in the forum which ended on Thursday in Rumbek. Good News Radio reports.
John Buol Anyieth, Lecturer from John Garang University who facilitate the forum, says there is a need for all the communities to stop attacking each other.
Anyieth urges Communities to accept themselves and embrace ever lasting peace to live with harmony among themselves.
The Communal Peace Dialogues were supported by Viable Support to Transition and Stability, or VISTAS.
