Community Empowerment for Progress Organization, in Wau appreciates the authorities and UNMISS for conducting peace caravan in Wau town this week.
Stephen Robo Musa CEPO coordinator says, they are glad for the good initiative taken by the two partners to organize peace procession. Voice of Hope reports
He says communities that fell apart because of the conflicts for the past few years needs to air out what pains them on public gatherings.
Robo says the event gives hope to see that government is doing something for the people.
‘People are in need of peace to prevail so that they leave camps and go to their homes willingly’. He adds.
He appeal to the government to work harder on the security, as criminal activities and night robberies is becoming higher in Wau town.
He encourages government to continue with such event as it boosts morale of the people and attrack them to return to their homes.
