At least two people have been killed and three others injured when a Police officer in Torit.
The suspect who is said to be a body guard of a prominent government official also injured three other people in the shooting at Hai Lotuko area.
Imotong State police chief inspector Major General Jeremia Fadiri Otoriang, says the suspect acted under the influence of alcohol.
Fadiri stated that the suspect started shooting at people who were watching a television in one of the clubs in the area following a minor misunderstanding.
The deceased includes a sixteen year old girl who lost her life at the scene.
Radio Emmanuel 89 FM further visited Torit State hospital and talked to the Medical director Dr. John Isaac on the condition of the injured in the shooting.
Meanwhile, Imotong state governor Tobiolo Alberio Oromo is calling on the citizens to cooperate with security organs to ensure maximum protection adding that security of the State is a collective responsibility of all citizens.
In a separate incident on Tuesday night, a driver working for Food and Agricultural Organization (FAO) was attacked in his house and killed by unknown armed men in hai Korton-Torit town.
