The South Sudan’s Minister of information, Michael Makuei says President Salva Kiir Maryardit is committed to cessation of the hostilities to give peace a chance for the revitalization of peace process.
Speaking to journalists on Tuesday after the extraordinary meeting of the council of ministers, Makuei accused what he termed as ‘strange groups’ of violating the ceasefire declared by President.
He says the government is also committed to provide access for the humanitarian aid agencies to reach to the needy communities.
Makuei encourage aid agencies to report any violation or obstruction on their way to the authorities concern. He reiterates the commitment of the government of South Sudan to assist the organization to reach to the needy communities.
Makuei urged citizens of Juba town not to panic but go on with their normal activities assuring them the security in Juba is normal.
