Girls’ Education South Sudan, GESS expresses concern about the cash transfer of the four girls robbed in Munuki Block B on Friday.

Some girls reported to CRN last week that their money of eleven thousand six hundred South Sudanese Pounds was robbed by armed men.

The father of the four girls says the armed men demanded for the girls’ money GESS gave them at school, and also robbed over one hundred thousand Pounds in the house.

GESS promises to follow up with the school and the relevant authorities.

GESS encourages concerned parents and community members to help monitor and report on any cases of misappropriation of the cash transfer by reporting to the 24-hour helpline for the team to follow up.
