The Program Manager for Caritas Luxemburg in Europe has concluded visiting projects carried out by Caritas in Imotong State over the weekend.
Carole Rekinger says her trip was to confirm the successes made and account to donors of the organization in Europe, Emmanuel Radio reports.
Rekinger expresses happiness for the hard work shown by the indigenous communities to the success of Caritas Luxemburg run projects in the state.
The Manager, says she felt optimistic by the interest put without requiring large capital.
Rekinger assures her organizations readiness to continue supporting the needy in South Sudan.
‘I feel disappointed by the negative news broadcasted about South Sudan in Diaspora which’. ‘Such news cause threat to outsiders who want to support the poor in the young nation, she stresses.
Caritas Luxemburg Program Manager mentions challenges like inadequate supplies of agricultural products due to insecurity in some parts of the state.
An organization currently runs five projects including agriculture, nutrition, food security, health and emergency programs in Greater Eastern Equatoria.
