The Information Minister of Amadi State is urging citizens of Karika, Barwulo, Kotobi and Amadi not to panic for heavy presence of army coming from Maridi to their state.
John Abute says the purpose of the army coming from Maridi state is to provide security along Amadi-Maridi road which was closed due to insecurity, Radio Anisa reports.
He says the army is not doing anything with citizens unless they clash with the armed opposition in the bush then citizens will get the sound of guns.
Abute says the road from Juba to Amadi is fine but from Amadi to Maridi is where there is a problem of the presence armed men in the bush.
He says the general situation in Amadi State is calm and people are doing their duties as usually.
The armed men in the bush have to come home for peace and go to school for their future, the minister stresses.
