The Government of Tombura State promises to cooperate with Centenary Radio, the second Tombura-Yambio Catholic Diocesan FM station in the new state.
Bishop Barani Eduardo Hiiboro delegated Director of Radio Anisa to go and inaugurate the second radio, call ‘the Voice of Bishop Gasi’ in Tombura.
Centenary Radio was established by Bishop Eduardo Hiiboro during Centenary celebration in Mupoi in 2012 to operate at St Mary Tombura Catholic Parish.
The radio is meant to pass the good news of Jesus Christ and educate the entire community on both spiritual and social aspects.
The radio started broadcasting on Monday, October, 30, 2017 on 100.0 megahertz.
It is the only radio station people can listen to in Tombura State.
