The Catholic Bishop of Tombura-Yambio is urging the Christians to extend their circle of love to one another.
Bishop Barani Eduardo Hiiboro Kussala in his homily at St Augustine Catholic Parish on Sunday says love that is limited only to the family members and close friends is not a real one, Asisa Radio reports.
He encourages believers to show love for those who are from different ethnicity and bring them closer to them.
The Bishop stresses that Christians need to commit themselves to go out to those out of their own community.
The Bishop quoted the book of Exodus where God is telling the Israelites to love and take care of everyone including widows and orphans.
He encourages the Christian community of St Augustine to look for those who have not been touched by love and bring them closer to God.
The bishop was speaking during his pastoral visit to St Augustine Catholic Parish in Yambio where he confirmed 66 people on Sunday.
