Parish Priest of St Josephine Bakhita Yabongo in the Catholic Diocese of Tombura-Yambio is appealing to Christians to take care of and love poor people.
Radio Anisa quoted Fr Andrew Mbuniwiya advising Christian to pray for widows, orphans and the poor to help them because they are in need.
He says anyone offering support to the poor is doing it to God the Almighty Father.
The priest made the call during a Eucharistic celebration on Sunday at St Josephine Bakhita Yabongo Catholic Parish in Yambio.
