The Director for Water and Sanitation in the Ministry of Fiscal Infrastructures vows to improve water points and security in Tonj state next year.
Moses Muor Luol explains that many areas outside the town do not have clean drinking water causing a lot of water borne diseases, Radio Don Bosco reports.
He says people are drinking unclean water because there are no boreholes in some areas of the state.
Muor urges the public to use filters for cleaning the water before taking and drinking it to avoid diseases.
The director tells citizens of Tonj to take care of their lives seriously.
He made the comment on Thursday in Tonj.
