A Catholic priest at Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Church in Torit Diocese is advising Christians to spend time in reading their Bibles.
In his homily on Sunday at the Parish, Fr Kizito Ayamu, says many people dedicate more of their time to social media than to God, Radio Emmanuel reports.
He observes that some Christians even connect to social media when attending church services.
Fr Ayamu says Christians who offer more time to God in their hearts will never have difficulties in their lives.
The cause of the problem is lack of communication with God, he adds.
The priest encourages Christians to engage with each other in sharing the words of God and teach their children how to pray.
