A Football Club of Saura in Yambio has organized a prayer for peace to prevail in their area and South Sudan at large.
Kumbonyaki Patrick, St Joseph Catholic Parish Information Officer, reports to Radio Anisa that the Episcopal Church in Saura led the prayer over the weekend.
He says the prayer was because many terrible things like killings and looting among others have been happening.
During the peace prayer, citizens were able to raise over 22 thousand South Sudanese Pounds to help the football activities and peace programs.
The occasion drew many government officials including, Yambio Commissioner Phillip Gbambi, State Minister of Information Youth and Sports, Gibson Bullen Wande.
Health Minister Hussein Enoka and some members of Parliament also attended the event.
