A woman in Yambio has decided to lay thousands of bricks to build her house and sell others to earn a living in Yambio of Gbudue State.
Veronica Beni Patrick at Nakpangau residential area says she decided for some years to lay brick to improve her living standard as the economic situation continues to deteriorate in South Sudan, Radio Anisa reports.
She reveals that the money she gets from the bricks is able to pay school fees of her son, children of her sisters and herself as a single mother.
The lady adds that it is not easy to start the work, but she admired the work when she saw men laying bricks.
Miss Ben encourages all women to avoid unnecessary movement and depending on men for livelihood but struggle with their hands to put bread on the table.
The woman who previously laid bricks and bought new bicycle and other house property, appeals to the government to support women who are struggling with their hands.
