The newly constructed modern maternity ward at Torit State Hospital which cost 500 thousand US Dollars is a very good donation, says Imotong State Minister for Health.
Paska Hifita Oduho appreciates the health partners for collaborating with the government to serve the population in the state, Radio Emmanuel reports.
She says the building of the ward, donated by World Health Organization or WHO and the Canadian government that started in 2015 is ready for opening early November.
The minister says the state government will fill the gaps in the bill of quantity before the facility starts functioning officially.
Minister Hifita admits that the government is facing challenges to motivate workers.
She calls on partners to continue supporting the government to deliver quality services to the population.
