A group of children of Our Lady of Fatima in Maridi Parish will begin selling their fish soon, says parish priest.
Fr Joseph Migido Zanunga reveals that the plan came out from young girls and boys of St Monica to dig a fish pond, Radio Anisa reports.
The fish pond will help the children to eat and have good balanced diet and sell others to earn their school fees, he adds.
He explains that fish will be ready in two months time to supply citizens of Maridi State.
Fr Migido says by doing that the children are sending a clear message of ownership and development of South Sudan by hard work in the country.
Over 140 children from different houses are participating in the team work, he adds.
The parish priest appeals to South Sudanese leaders to take care of small children because they are the future generation of the country.
AMREF supported the children by fencing the three ponds.
